Two Finish Friday

I have two finishes this week! My Craftsy class cowl and my low vol Sunnyside quilt. Scarlett is guarding both.

Here’s the cowl – I’m a little bit proud of this one!

Here’s the back of the quilt – you can really see the quilting!

Some detail – I am still not fond of pebbles but they are so effective!

Here’s my favourite part of the quilt. I got my arc templates out and wow… It just knocks me out how good this looks!

And here is the whole thing! It was my answer to chevrons – disturbed chevrons. I really really love how the quilting has turned out. This is one quilt that shows how far I have come as it is all out of my own head, from the design to the quilting motifs.kslowvolfinishfull

  1. Your quilting is truly stand out on this little Kate Spain, and I appreciate the way you see it as a functional piece yet.
Yes, my dogs may touch my quilts, too. One is snuggled right up here now, hugging the quilt. Thank you for hostessing the link up today.

  2. Very impressive quilting…..one day…one day…I can only dream and I guess practice. I like the cowl as well. And on another subject what kind of dog is Scarlet. My partner’s aunt has a dog that looks just like her and she doesn’t know what he is.

  3. Love your use of the Sunnyside fabrics! One of my favorite lines <3 Your quilts looks gorgeous on the quilt, it adds so much texture!

  4. Beautiful quilting and the sunlight really does it justice. It’s a pretty cool feeling to have something of your “own” on all levels, right? Good for you. 🙂

  5. Your quilting turned out great! You did a good job on the overall design of the quilt and quilting. I like how it turned out.
