TGIFF – the Batdog Edition

Greetings Humans.
I am about to reveal my true identity. Prepare to be amazed.
By day, I am Scarlett, mild mannered Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. At night, criminals, a cowardly and superstitious lot, call me… Batdog.

People think it’s an obsession. A compulsion. As if there were an irresistible impulse to act. It’s never been like that. I chose this life. I know what I’m doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn’t that day. And tomorrow won’t be either.

My calling as Batdog was evident from an early age.

When I am not fighting evil (the BAT), I live (sometimes) peacefully with my faithful sidekick Robin (who you may know as Melody, pictured below after we defeated THE BAT).

We are (somewhat) ably attended by our butler/valet, Laura. She tries her hardest, but she has recently made a terrible faux pas in the the wardrobe department. In my work as a crime-fighting superhero, it is important that I can slip through the night like a panther, pass through the jungle like a leopard, well-camouflaged and sight unseen. All was going smoothly until my Valet presented me with this…

We are not amused.
As if the orange stripe and THIS clue weren’t enough..

Our identity is now obvious to all.

I predict an increase in crime of unprecedented proportions. You know whose fault it is. You know who to complain to.
