Lilypond finish!

Lauracrochet10 Comments

Spring has sprung, the flowers are out and Melody has had her first haircut for the season…

We have a visitor, Jasper the red border collie, who wasn’t too impressed at being made to sit near the flowers due to the abundance of bees…

Some other flowers are out as well – out of the way. Yes, miracles do happen. My lilypond crochet blanket is finished!

Here it is in all its glory! I did decide the final scalloped border in the pattern was overkill, so I gave that a miss.

Now I’m going to see what Janine is up to with her Wool on Sundays!

  2. Oh wow, your lilypond crochet blanket is amazing. Love the colours and the pattern is perfect. I am just popping by via Janine’s. Wool on Sundays. So happy to visit your lovely blog!

  3. Hi Laura ~ Just wondering about Jasper. Are you sure that he is a red border collie? He sure looks like a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (Toller for short). We have a Toller and Jasper looks alot like her

  4. Wow, what a lovely afghan! I havenโ€™t crocheted in years, so I love seeing all the artistry that is brought into it these days; so different from plain old row patterns. You did a beautiful job!
